Bio

Product designer by day, guitarist and bassist by night, though my kids would argue I'm mostly just their personal chauffeur these days.

I've spent the last 7+ years designing products that people actually want to use. Right now that means working at Microsoft Copilot Studio, helping shape what agentic AI looks like for the humans who use it every day.

I care deeply about the details, the kind of person who will absolutely argue for the Oxford comma and lose sleep over a misaligned component. But I also know when to zoom out and ask the bigger question: does this actually solve the problem?

I've had the privilege of working across some genuinely interesting design challenges. From helping 800,000 First Republic Bank customers navigate one of the largest banking mergers in recent history, to envisioning Agent 365, a brand new Microsoft product that shipped to customers in May 2026

When I'm not designing or recording music in my home studio, you'll find me deep in an RPG, watching anime with my partner, or planning the next family trip somewhere we've never been.

How I work

Four things I'll repeat in every project.

  1. 01

    Data is design.

I don't guess what users need, I look at what they actually do. Every design decision should have a reason, and data has a way of making those reasons undeniable.

  2. 02

    End-to-end thinking.

A feature doesn't exist in isolation. I design with the whole product in mind, how this screen connects to that flow, how this decision affects the next one, and what happens three steps after the happy path.

  3. 03

    Simplify by default.

Complexity is easy. Clarity is the hard part. My first instinct is always to remove, reduce, and refine until what's left is exactly what the user needs and nothing they don't.

  4. 04

    Build to learn.

The fastest way to know if something works is to make it. I prototype early, vibe code when I need to, and get real feedback before committing to a solution.
